Rescue 3 Instructors have long been considered some of the best in the industry and the Rescue 3 Instructor qualification is used as a sign of professionalism and quality wherever rescue courses are run throughout the world.

There are currently over 700 Rescue 3 Instructors worldwide, and over 150,000 students hold a Rescue 3 qualification. Below we have separated the Instructor pathways for those students wishing to go on to train as Rescue 3 Instructors in Water, Rope and Boat disciplines.

  • Swiftwater & Flood Instructor Levels

    Swiftwater & Flood Instructor LevelsThe Rescue 3 Swiftwater & Flood Rescue Instructor training courses range from Classroom based Awareness training levels through to Advanced Swiftwater & Flood Rescue Instruction covering water and high angle rescue training.

    These Instructor classes cover both the needs of the emergency services and whitewater professional and are recognised throughout the world.

  • Swiftwater & Flood Boat Instructor Levels

    Swiftwater & Flood Boat Instructor LevelsTheĀ  Rescue 3 Rescue Boat instructor levels come in the following three categories:

    • Rescue Boat Operator - Flat or slow moving water environment with a rescue cabability
    • Flood Rescue Boat Operator - Slow moving water and flood environment, with a rescue recovery capability in flood conditions.
    • Swiftwater & Flood Rescue Boat Operator - Swiftwater & flood environment, with a rescue capability in Swiftwater and fast moving flood water.

    Each level builds on the comprehensive knowledge of the course before to encompass the full range of rescue boat Instructor training.

  • Rope Rescue Instructor Levels

    Rope Rescue Instructor LevelsRescue 3 has a range of rope rescue Instructor training courses and they cover courses from basic Safe Working at Height through to Advanced Rope Rescue Technician Instructor.

    These courses equip candidates with the ability to teach to a level that enables students to look after themselves and learn a range of rope and high angle rescue techniques giving them a rescue capability in both the wilderness and urban rescue environment.
