The Rope Rescue Technician Instructor (RRTI) course covers the teaching of concepts and techniques to enable small teams to undertake technical rope rescues. A building block approach is used throughout the course so that candidates can progress from key concepts through to the rigging and operation of full systems for raising, lowering and highline rescues.
Prerequisites:
- Rope Rescue Operator (5 days)
- Rope Rescue Technician (5 days)
- Rope Rescue Technician Advanced (5 days)
- Rope Rescue Operator Instructor (5 days training, 3 days assessment)
- First aid qualification, appropriate for the environment in which they will be working.
