8mm Prusik testing

Helix Operations have undertaken testing into 8mm Prusiks, which they have allowed us to share here.

The testing presented here highlights the importance of checking host rope and Prusik compatibility. While it is commonly understood that an 8mm Prusik on an 11m rope will typically slip within a bandwidth of 6-12kN, this remains a significant range of performance, and also does not address the ongoing performance of the Prusik post slip event.
