Rescue Boat Operator Instructor (RBOI)
The Rescue Boat Operator Instructor (RBOI) pathway is designed for rescue professionals who wish to teach the RBO syllabus on flat or slow moving water environments and who need a rescue capability.
Prerequisites:
- Logged experience of powerboat operations (1 year)
- Rescue Boat Operator course (2 days)
- First aid qualification, appropriate for the environment in which they will be working.
Instructor training:
- Rescue Boat Operator Instructor training (2 days)
Instructor assessment:
- Rescue Boat Operator Instructor assessment (1 days)
Qualification valid for:
2 years
