As the world’s leading accrediting body for safety and rescue, we are here to support your journey from student to specialist.

Below, you’ll find answers to some of our most frequently asked questions. While your instructor and their training organisation are your best first point of contact, we’re always happy to hear from you.

With over 100 different courses, in disciplines including water, rope, boat, confined space and ice safety and rescue, we cover everything from initial awareness to advanced technician and  management, with all associated instructor and train the trainer levels.

During your course

Your instructor follows a rigorous syllabus and defined learning outcomes. By adhering to Rescue 3 Europe standards and our accreditation framework, we ensure the highest levels of safety and quality for every student.

Completing your qualification

At the end of the course, you’ll be asked to sign a skill sheet. This is your official record of training and assessment. Both you and your instructor must sign this to finalise your qualification.

  • Digital skill sheets: We use digital skill sheets signed on a tablet or phone. In remote areas without signal, we may use paper backups which are digitised later.

  • Certification: Once the paperwork is verified by your training provider and Rescue 3 Europe, your certificate will be emailed to you.

  • Privacy: Please ensure your instructor has your correct email address. We only use this for your qualification – we hate spam as much as you do.

Validity and feedback

  • 3-year validity: All Rescue 3 Europe student qualifications are valid for three years.

  • Feedback: Your certificate email will include a link asking for post-course feedback. Every student who leaves feedback is entered into our quarterly draw to win Rescue 3 Europe merchandise.

What’s next?
