Mud Safety and Rescue Instructor (MSRI)
The Mud Safety and Rescue Instructor (MSRI) pathway enables the candidate to deliver the Mud Safety (MS) and Mud Safety and Rescue (MSR) courses.
Prerequisites:
- Mud Safety and Rescue (MSR)
- Safe Working In Water (SWIW) (2 days)
- First aid qualification, appropriate for the environment in which they will be working.
Instructor training and assessment:
- Mud Safety and Rescue Instructor training and assessment (3 days)
Alternative instructor pathway:
- Swiftwater and Flood Rescue Technician Instructor (SRTI) who has taken the Mud Safety and Rescue (MSR) course.
Qualification valid for:
2 years
