Rope Rescue Operator Instructor (RROI)
The Rope Rescue Operator Instructor (RROI) course will enable tuition of those who operate safely and effectively during rope rescues, as an active part of a rope rescue team.
Prerequisites:
- Rope Rescue Operator (RRO)
- Rope Rescue Technician (RRT)
- First aid qualification, appropriate for the environment in which they will be working.
Instructor training:
- Rope Rescue Operator Instructor training (5 days)
Instructor assessment:
- Rope Rescue Operator Instructor assessment (3 days)
Candidates are expected to further develop their personal skills and knowledge between their training and assessment courses, following an individual action plan outlined in the training course debrief.
Qualification valid for:
2 years
Able to teach:
- Safe Working at Height (SWAH)
- Safe Working at Height for HART (SWAHHART)
- Co Worker Rescue at Height (CWRH)
- Rope Rescue Operator (RRO)
