Water Safety for Expedition Leaders Instructor (WSELI)
The Water Safety for Expedition Leaders Instructor (WSELI) pathway is designed for candidates wishing to deliver a course for both professional and recreational expedition leaders and team members who lead or work with groups on expeditions where hazards are presented by water.
Prerequisites:
- Whitewater Rescue Technician Instructor (WRTI) or Swiftwater and Flood Rescue Technician Instructor (SRTI)
- Evidence of expedition experience
- First aid qualification, appropriate for the environment in which they will be working.
Instructor training and assessment:
- Instructor workshop, format based on level of expedition experience and existing experience delivering Rescue 3 courses. Please contact the Rescue 3 Europe head office for details.
