Rope Rescue Team Leader (RRTL)
The Rope Rescue Team Leader course is for existing RRO, RRT and RRSs who will lead a team of that level at a rope rescue.

- Prerequisite knowledge from RRO, RRT and/or RRS courses
- Rope rescue legislation, documentation and guidance
- Rope rescue team typing
- Working with partner agencies
- Media considerations
- Pre-planning for incidents
- Risk assessments
- Arrival on scene/incident size-up
- Team briefing and debriefing
- Post-incident procedures, paperwork and reporting
- Considerations for night/poor visibility operations
- Identifying confined spaces
- Team welfare considerations
- Command and control of a rescue system
- Prerequisite skills from the RRO, RRT and/or RRS courses
- Team-based rope rescue scenarios
