Swiftwater and Flood First Responder Instructor (SFRI)

The Swiftwater and Flood First Responder Instructor (SFRI) pathway is designed for teaching personnel with a swiftwater and flood capability up to first responder level.

Prerequisites:

Instructor training:

  • Swiftwater and Flood First Responder Instructor training (4 days)

Instructor assessment:

  • Swiftwater and Flood First Responder Instructor assessment (2 days)

Candidates are expected to further develop their personal skills and knowledge between their training and assessment courses, following an individual action plan outlined in the training course debrief.

2 years
