Confined Space Rescue Specialist Instructor (CSRSI)

The Confined Space Rescue Specialist Instructor course builds on the Confined Space Rescue Technician Instructor (CSRTI) course, enabling the tuition of advanced technical solutions to confined space rescue problems. It was formerly known as Confined Space Rescue Technician Advanced Instructor.

Prerequisites:

• Confined Space Rescue Operator (CSRO) 
• Confined Space Rescue Technician (CSRT) 
• Confined Space Rescue Specialist (CSRS)
• Confined Space Rescue Operator Instructor (CSROI) 
• Confined Space Rescue Technician Instructor (CSRTI)
• First aid qualification, appropriate for the environment in which they will be working.

Instructor training

• Confined Space Rescue Specialist Instructor training (5 days)

Instructor assessment

• Confined Space Rescue Specialist Instructor assessment (3 days)

Candidates are expected to further develop their personal skills and knowledge between their training and assessment courses, following an individual action plan outlined in the training course debrief.

• 2 years

• Safe Working in Confined Spaces (Low and Medium Risk. Horizontal and Vertical) (SWCSHV)

• Confined Space Entry and Rescue (Low, Medium and High Risk) (CSERLMH)
• Confined Space Rescue Operator (CSRO)
• Confined Space Rescue Technician (CSRT)
• Confined Space Rescue Specialist (CSRS)
