Confined Space Rescue Technician Instructor (CSRTI)

The Confined Space Rescue Technician Instructor course covers the teaching of concepts and techniques to enable small teams to undertake technical confined space rescues.

Prerequisites:

• Confined Space Rescue Operator (CSRO)
• Confined Space Rescue Technician (CSRT)
• Confined Space Rescue Specialist (CSRS)
• Confined Space Rescue Operator Instructor (CSROI)
• First aid qualification, appropriate for the environment in which they will be working.

Instructor training

• Confined Space Rescue Technician Instructor training (5 days)

Instructor assessment

• Confined Space Rescue Technician Instructor assessment (3 days)

Candidates are expected to further develop their personal skills and knowledge between their training and assessment courses, following an individual action plan outlined in the training course debrief.

• 2 years

  • Confined Space Entry and Rescue (Low, Medium and High Risk) (CSERLMH)
  • Confined Space Rescue Operator (CSRO)
  • Confined Space Rescue Technician (CSRT)
