Radio Controlled Rescue Device Technician (RCRDT)

The Radio Controlled Rescue Device Technician course trains existing Swiftwater and Flood Rescue Technicians in the use of RCRDs, for a range of
conditional and true rescues. For people without existing rescue training, the Radio Controlled Rescue Device Operator course gives a simpler capability

  • Conditional rescues using an RCRD
  • Untethered true rescues using an RCRD
  • Tethered true rescues using an RCRD
  • Recovering a casualty to dry land
