Rope Rescue Specialist Instructor (RRSI)
The Rope Rescue Specialist Instructor (RRSI) course builds on the Rope Rescue Technician Instructor course, enabling the tuition of advanced technical solutions to rope rescue problems. This course was formerly known as Rope Rescue Technician Advanced Instructor (RRTAI).
Prerequisites:
- Rope Rescue Operator (RRO)
- Rope Rescue Technician (RRT)
- Rope Rescue Specialist (RRS)
- Rope Rescue Operator Instructor (RROI)
- Rope Rescue Technician Instructor (RRTI)
- First aid qualification, appropriate for the environment in which they will be working.
Instructor training and assessment:
- Rope Rescue Specialist Instructor training and assessment (5 days)
Qualification valid for:
2 years
Able to teach:
- Safe Working at Height (SWAH)
- Safe Working at Height for HART (SWAHHART)
- Co Worker Rescue at Height (CWRH)
- Rope Rescue Operator (RRO)
- Rope Rescue Technician (RRT)
- Rope Rescue Specialist (RRS)
